With the sharpening stone from Calisso you give your kitchen knives the old sharpness again.
The coarse grit of 400 will bring the blade of your knife back into shape. Even small damage to the blade, such as dents or chipping can be easily ground away. The grit is perfect for basic grinding, because the coarse grit takes away a lot of steel.
With the grit of 1000 the blade can then be touched up even finer and regains precision. A grit of 1000 is mostly sufficient for normal knives and provides the main sharpening. However, you will not be able to fully regain your usual Calisso sharpness. For this and other very high quality knives, it is best to use a Finer grit whetstone.
